Carla is a bright eyed 6 year old little girl. Carla has been diagnosed with autism. UPDATE!!! Carla has been receiving Secreten for several months and is showing great results. | Secretin is a chemical produced in most people that stimulates the pancreas so the pancrease releases substances that aid in digestion. Secretin is used to diagnose gastrointestinal problems, and the FDA has approved this use of secretin for many years. Secretin and Autism. Secretin has been given to some children diagnosed with autism, with improvements to their social and language skills. Carla has been accepted to recieve secretin. Carlas' mother is the sole provider for Carla and Carlas' sister. This web page is being put together to help make it possible for Carla to continue to recieve the Secretin treatments so that Carla can progress as far as possible.
